As a parent, you are undoubtedly concerned about the quality of the school your child will attend. Luckily, Contra Costa County has some of the finest public school districts in the state, as can be seen from test results:

Registration is usually from May into early June. School offices are also usually open for registration two weeks before the school year begins. To register your child, you will need to provide the school with your address, proof of your child's age (birth certificate), and a current immunization record. (California State law requires that all students, Kindergarten through 12th grade, have the required immunizations. To enroll your child, you must provide a doctor's certificate which verifies your child's immunization history.)
